This is a common problem. There are actually several problems that could be going on. One of the most common and easy to fix is simply that some of the bones of the foot have slipped out of place. This can cause any or all of the foot symptoms described above. Although this foot problem is usually easy to correct, this foot problem will not correct its self. The majority of the time the pain in the foot goes away as soon as the correction is done. There is no other profession that can fix this problem in the feet so easily. If this is the problem causing your feet to hurt it simple to correct. This is one of the most common problems causing pain in the feet that goes over looked by most other health care professions. A simple evaluation can tell us if this is the source of your pain in the foot. If the arch has been dropped for a long time then the tissues will have been stretched to accommodate the dropped position and will not support the foot in the proper position even if it is adjusted. When the arch has been dropped for a long time it will often need supported with a proper custom made arch support. The problem with most arch supports weather you buy them in a store or have them custom made by a foot doctor is that they only support one of the three arches in the foot. All three arches need to be properly supported and the support needs to be flexible so the foot can give and move the way it was designed to in order to stop the feet from hurting. The foot can not move and give the way it is designed to with hard plastic or metal arch supports. I provide custom made flexible arch supports designed properly for almost any shoe style. This is the best way to deal with a dropped arch causing arch pain or pain in the foot.
