Services

Being a Chiropractor, one of the main services I provide at Bristow Chiropractic is called an adjustment. The adjustment is designed to relieve the stress on the nerves in order to restore normal function to the nerve and reduce stress on the joints. In my office I only use low force adjusting which means there is no twisting, snapping, or popping when you are adjusted. This means there is no stretching or straining of the tissues when you are adjusted. There is a very low force delivered to a specific area to restore normal mechanics of the involved joint and restore proper nerve function. This makes this kind of adjusting very gentle and safe for anyone. Restoring normal nerve function is a major part of helping the body to heal.

The second service that I provide is a specially designed soft tissue treatment to help repair the damaged tendons, ligaments, and muscles. It is the tissues that move the bones and hold the bones in place, so the tissue must be damaged or malfunctioning if the bones are not where they belong. This damaged tissue is a major part of the problem in most cases and must be properly addressed to help you recover. Once I identify precisely where and in which tissue the damage is located, I use Directional Pressure Therapy applied in a very precise direction and location to help begin the repair process to the damaged tissues. This is the key in helping speed the healing and repair of the damaged tissues. Directional Pressure Therapy is the most advanced system of helping the damaged tissues I have seen anywhere. Damaged tissues are at the core of most problems that are causing pain and must be properly treated in order to correct the situation and reduce the pain. I specialize in helping the body to repair damaged tissue.

I provide cervical and low back traction to help decompress neck or low back disc problems. This is often the only thing that will help if the problem is truly a damaged disc.

I provide dietary and nutritional supplement evaluation to correct for any nutritional inadequacies that may be causing a problem or slowing down the healing and repair. This can often be a major stumbling block to the healing and repair process.

I provide exercises that are targeted to specific problems or an overall program depending on the needs of the patient. None of these exercises require any equipment to do. My strength program only requires about 10 minutes 2 times per week. My aerobics program only requires 12 minutes or less. I teach these programs to patients as well as groups when requested.

I provide the normal exams, lab work, and x-rays as needed.

I provide custom made flexible arch supports for those who need and want help with their feet.
